Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how PuzzleDots ("we", "us", "the app") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the PuzzleDots mobile application on Android and iOS. By using PuzzleDots, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information we collect
PuzzleDots is a single-player puzzle game that does not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or health data.
The app and its third-party service providers may collect the following categories of information:
- Device and usage data — device model, operating system version, language, time zone, app version, crash logs, performance metrics, and app interaction events. Used to diagnose crashes, understand how features are used, and improve the app.
- Advertising identifiers — a resettable advertising ID (Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA when permitted) used by our advertising partner to show ads. You can reset or limit this in your device settings.
- Purchase history — a record of in-app purchases made through the Google Play or Apple App Store billing systems. Used to restore entitlements (such as the "Remove Ads" purchase and hint/booster credits) across installs.
- Gameplay progress — your level progress, star ratings, hint counts, and settings. This data is stored locally on your device using Hive and does not leave the device unless you explicitly enable cloud save (if and when offered).
2. Third-party services
PuzzleDots uses the following third-party services. Each service has its own privacy policy.
- Google AdMob — serves banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage signals to deliver personalized or non-personalized ads. AdMob privacy details.
- Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics) — collects anonymized app usage events and crash logs to help us improve stability and UX. Firebase privacy details.
- Google Play Billing / Apple App Store — processes in-app purchases. Payment details are handled entirely by the platform and are never received by PuzzleDots.
- Google Play Games Services — if you opt in to leaderboards, your Play Games player ID and star totals are shared with Google to display leaderboard rankings.
3. How we use information
- To operate and maintain the game.
- To display ads and, where applicable, personalize them.
- To process and restore in-app purchases.
- To diagnose crashes and improve performance.
- To understand feature usage in aggregate.
4. Sharing of information
We share information only with the third-party services listed above, strictly for the purposes described. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share information with data brokers or marketers.
5. Children
PuzzleDots is intended for players aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EEA, UK, and California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, or to request deletion of data associated with your account or device, email us at support@acsotra.com.
You can also reset or delete your local progress at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing app data in your device settings.
7. Data retention
Gameplay progress stays on your device until you uninstall the app or clear its data. Analytics and crash data are retained by Firebase per Google's standard retention windows. Purchase records are retained by the respective app store.
8. Security
All network traffic between the app and our third-party services uses HTTPS/TLS. We do not operate our own servers that store your personal data.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced in the app release notes.
